Baaghi 4 box office collection day 1: Tiger Shroff’s film fails to become the biggest opener of the franchise, earns just Rs…

Baaghi 4 marks Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited comeback to the big-screen in a fierce and fearless avatar. Despite strong pre-release buzz and soaring expectations, the film opened to a mixed response at the box office on its first day. According to updates by Sacnilk.com, the film has registered above Rs 10 crore, thereby not able to match the opening day figures of its previous instalments Baaghi 2 and 3.

The reports state that Baaghi earned around Rs 12 crore in India on Day 1. The film registered an overall 28.32% Hindi occupancy, with 22.16% in morning shows, and the highest 37.23% in night shows. The film particularly saw the highest numbers in Kolkata (30.5%), Chennai (41%), and Jaipur (44%).

Meanwhile, Baaghi 3 had minted Rs 17.5 crore on opening day. On the other hand, Baaghi 2 had raked in Rs 25.10 crore, and the first Baaghi had collected Rs 11.85 crore. Though the opening is lower compared to earlier Baaghi instalments, industry traders believe that the film can pick up its pace in the next two days of the weekend and show growth.

About Baaghi 4

Released on September 5, the high-octane action drama is the fourth instalment in Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi. Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by A Harsha, the film also stars Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sonam Bajwa in pivotal roles.

An excerpt from India.com’s review reads, “To be honest, this slow-moving story is frustrating and feels like a nightmare to watch because it takes too long to make sense. The narrative is weak and confusing. While the first three Baaghi films were South Indian remakes, this time producer Sajid Nadiadwala took over the writing, and it shows!”
