One from Assam dies in clash along Meghalaya-Assam inter-state border

A violent confrontation during paddy harvesting along the Meghalaya-Assam border has resulted in one death. Orivel Timung, 45, from Assam's Tahpat village, was killed in the clash between Lapangap and Tahpat villagers. Harvesting activities have been halted following the incident, and a case has been registered.
