The soldier was found with his rucksack and weapon, while a search operation remains underway to trace another missing paratrooper from the same mission.
According to a preliminary probe cited by officials, both soldiers were caught in an avalanche or snowstorm while conducting the operation in the high-altitude region.
The Army has deployed multiple teams for search and rescue, but operations are being slowed by extreme weather, heavy snow, and treacherous terrain, making the mission dangerous for rescue personnel as well.
The rescue operation for another missing soldier is going on.
