Two batches of workshop on “AI Aura” organized for CA students

JAMMU, Oct 9: J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI organized two batches of a workshop on “AI Aura” held on 6th-7th October and 8th-9th October, exclusively for CA students.
The initiative marked a major step towards empowering aspiring Chartered Accountants with knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications in the accounting profession.
The sessions were conducted by Preksha Jain, a renowned faculty in the field of AI, who provided participants with practical insights into how Artificial Intelligence is transforming finance, auditing and professional decision-making. Over 80 CA students attended the workshop across both batches, actively participating in hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and interactive discussions.
Sourav Pargal, Chairman of the J&K Branch, in his address, highlighted that AI is reshaping the future of the profession and emphasized the need for students to stay technologically equipped. He stated that initiatives like these will help students become future-ready professionals, capable of adapting to the rapidly evolving financial and business environment. The sessions concluded with a vote of thanks by Amit Gupta. The event also witnessed the presence and support of Jatin Malhotra (secretary), Sanchit Aggarwal (treasurer), Ayush Sawhney (executive member) and Ayush Mahajan (executive member), who played a key role in successfully organizing the workshop.
