Brief: Six cattle burnt alive in fire at Pali village

A fire broke out at a cattle enclosure in Pali village last night, resulting in the deaths of six cattle.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit, which ignited a diesel-filled drum and quickly spread to the entire verandah where the animals were tied.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in the late hours of the night and spread rapidly, engulfing the cattle enclosure. The animals, including four buffaloes and two calves, were trapped inside and perished in the fire.

The farmer, Bhup Singh, suffered significant losses, estimated to be in lakhs of rupees.
