2025 has seen many films become box office sensations, but some have also flopped badly. Interestingly, a flop film is currently making waves on OTT platforms. Upon its digital release, it even made it to the top of the trending list. That film is called “Dhadak 2.”

Cast and Setting

Set in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the story of Dhadak 2 tackles the sensitive social issue of caste-based discrimination. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri star in the lead roles. Zakir Hussain, Saurabh Sachdeva, Deeksha Joshi, and Nitin Sharma also star. The film begins with the meeting of Nilesh and Vidhi, who are studying at a law college. Gradually, love blossoms between them. However, caste differences, social stereotypes, and Vidhi’s family’s views stand in their way.

After a while, the story shifts from romantic to tragic. It’s an emotional romantic drama that confronts societal stereotypes and also encourages reflection. However, upon release, Dhadak 2 didn’t perform well at the box office.
