Fatehgarh Sahib DC asks officials to expedite road repair works

After receiving complaints about the poor condition of roads, particularly the National Highway passing through the district, Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind inspected the highway and link roads.

The DC directed the executive agencies, officers and SDOs to expedite the construction and repair works. She warned that no laxity will be tolerated before urging the respective SDMs to monitor the construction and repair process of the roads from time to time so that the deficiencies can be removed simultaneously.

Thind was accompanied by Fatehgarh Sahib Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arvind Kumar Gupta, Amloh SDM Chetan Bangar, Chief Minister Field Officer Shankar Sharma, Executive Agencies’ Executive Officers during the inspection.
