Haj 2026: Second waiting list out. Last date for pay advance amount announced

The Haj Committee of India has announced the second waiting list for the next year’s pilgrimage. The list has over 7,000 pilgrims, and they have been advised to deposit the advance amount before October 31, 2025.

“As of date, 7,636 Haj seats have become available due to cancellations of provisionally allotted seats,” the notification released by the Hajj Committee of India said on Monday.

It also urged the waitlisted applicants to deposit Rs 2,77,300, of which the first instalment is Rs 152,300 and the second is Rs 125,000. The amount has to be paid before October 31, 2025, the Haj Committee of India said.

The notification said that the selection from the Hajj waiting list will be provisional unless the advanced Haj amount is paid before the due date. The details are available at the Haj Committee of India website.

The payment can be made through the e-payment facility available on the Haj Committee of India website, or Haj Suvidha App using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking / UPI, or through bank transfer in SBI or Union Bank of India in the Haj Committee of India account.

After depositing the payment, the pilgrims must upload a signed copy of the Haj Application Form (HAF), a copy of the pay-in-slip, and a medical and fitness certificate to the Haj Committee of India on October 18, 2025.

The Haj 2026 third waiting list will be released any time after October 31, 2025, which is the last date of payment for the waitlist pilgrims in the second waiting list. The likely date of Haj 2026 is May 24 to 29, 2026, and the final date will be confirmed after Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH moon sighting.
