Bihar polls: Prashant Kishor opts out of assembly elections, says decision made in 'larger party interests'

Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor stated he will not contest Bihar assembly elections in the "larger party interests." Kishor explained that his campaigning would detract from supporting other candidates, thus he will focus on organizational work and launching campaigns for party nominees. This decision follows the party fielding Chanchal Singh against RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav from Raghopur.
