This time, students will have five consecutive days off from October 19th to 23rd, adding to the festive enjoyment.

Everyone, from children to adults, is eagerly awaiting the Diwali holidays. Those living far away from their villages are eagerly awaiting their return home for the holidays. Five Days of Public Holidays Declared
This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 21st, but school holidays will begin before the festive season. Many schools in Haryana have declared holidays starting October 17th, allowing children to enjoy the festivities for several consecutive days.
October 19th (Sunday) will be a weekly holiday, followed by a holiday in most states on October 20th (Monday). October 21st (Tuesday) will be a public holiday across the country on the occasion of Diwali. Schools will also be closed for Govardhan Puja on Wednesday, October 22nd, and Bhai Dooj on Thursday, October 23rd. This means five consecutive holidays from October 19th to 23rd.
However, private schools may have different holiday dates, so parents should check the school notice.
Holiday on October 31
Many schools will also be closed for Chhath festival. Most schools will be closed for Nahai-Khai on October 25 (Saturday), Sandhya Arghya on October 27 (Monday), and Usha Arghya on October 28 (Tuesday). Bihar, Jharkhand, and eastern Uttar Pradesh will have four days of holidays from October 25 to 28. Additionally, schools in Uttar Pradesh will be closed on October 31 for Sardar Patel Jayanti.
