WATCH | Trailer for Vishnu Vishal's Tamil psychological thriller 'Aaryan'

The first official trailer of Vishnu Vishal's Aaryan has been released. The film, which sees the actor return to the thriller genre and donning the khaki again after his hit investigative thriller Ratsasan, deals with a psychopath who announces that he'll reveal the name of the victim precisely an hour before the killing. The trailer hints at Selvaraghavan playing a complex antagonist.
Written and directed by Praveen K, the film has Shraddha Srinath and Vani P Bhojan playing the female leads, with Selvaraghavan in a key role. The rest of the cast comprises actors Tarak Ponnappa, Abhishek Joseph George and Mala Parvathi.
Manu Anand, who directed Vishnu Vishal in FIR, is the co-writer. Harish Kannan handled the camera, with Sam CS ("Kaithi") as music composer. Ratsasan editor San Lokesh handled the editing for Aaryan as well. Stunt Silva and PC Stunts Prabhu supervised the action.
Recently, Vishnu expressed relief at finishing a film that took three years to complete due to various reasons. Though production had begun in 2022, the team was able to wrap it up only early this year.
The actor, who is bankrolling the film under his home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz, announced that it will finally see the light of day on October 31, a date confirmed by the trailer.
In an earlier note on his Instagram page, the actor wrote, "They say time tests you. 34 months tested me. This October, I return with my strength, my core, my cinema. I'm back as a solo lead. See you in theatres on October 31st."
Vishnu Vishal was last seen in the romantic comedy drama Oho Enthan Baby, released in theatres in July this year. The film is expected to hit Netflix soon. An official streaming date is yet to be announced by the makers.
