IASAP marks Foundation Day & Emerald Jubilee
Indian Association of Secretaries & Administrative Professionals (IASAP) Mumbai HQ, celebrated Foundation Day and Emerald Jubilee recently at Kohinoor Continental, Mumbai. Around 100 members and invitees attended the event.
Co-Comperes Past President Zarine Commissariat & Member Hanisha Vazirani, welcomed the audience. President, All-India Vijayalaxmi Amin in her welcome speech highlighted the legacy left behind by the founder Late Mrs. Homai Homi Mehta-honouring our past and inspiring the present.
A presentation to respect the vision and exceptional qualities of Mrs. Mehta was compiled and shared by Member Joan Lobo and Past President Edna Martis. Mrs. Mehta’s life lived with honesty and integrity was highlighted through the sentiments of the past presidents and governing council of IASAP–a visionary, inspiring leader/teacher, great friend, excellent mentor, etc. A message from Mrs. Mehta’s daughter Niloufer was shared. Mrs. Mehta, a legend, continues to inspire IASAPians. For 55 years, IASAP has been serving the secretarial community by arranging programs at national and international levels. The newsletter of IASAP Mumbai HQ was released by the editor, past President Moti Vazifdar. Binaifer Daruwala, VP-cum-hon. Treasurer and asst. manager, Tata Services, proposed the vote of thanks.
