This campaign will help pensioners across the country submit their life certificates digitally, thereby facilitating the pension distribution process. The initiative aims to simplify the life certificate process for pensioners by providing them with technical support.

Digital Life Certificate

Digital Life Certificate is an Aadhaar-based service that allows pensioners to provide proof of their life status online without being physically present. Pensioners must have an Aadhaar number, a bank account, and a biometric device. The government has made this service available in 2,000 districts and subdivisions, and camps will be organized at bank branches in over 300 cities.

Special Arrangements for Elderly and Disabled Pensioners

This campaign for pensioners over 80 years of age will begin on October 1st and continue until November 30th. These senior citizens will be provided assistance in submitting their Digital Life Certificate through visits to their homes and hospitals. This will enable even pensioners with illness or mobility impairments to continue receiving their pension without hassle. This government initiative will not only provide convenience to pensioners but will also make the pension distribution system more transparent and efficient. Pensioners can obtain information about this campaign from their nearest bank branch or pension distribution center.
