'Dies Irae' fan reactions: Rahul Sadasivan psychological horror starring Pranav Mohanlal wins hearts

Dies Irae, which is helmed by the director of Bhramayugam and Bhoothakaalam, opened to positive reactions from fans on October 31. 

Dies Irae is produced by Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios. It comes with the tagline, The Day of Wrath, which is the translation of the Latin phrase, 'Dies Irae'. The title is taken from a Latim hymn that describes the Last Judgment.

The film has minted Rs 1.8 crore in net domestic box office collection, as per early estimates by Sacnilk.

Certified A by the censor board, the Pranav Mohanlal film directed by Rahul Sadasivan, is hailed as a thrilling horror experience by fans. 

One of the fans posted, "Excellent work again by our mad king Rahul Sadasivan. Unique horror theme by international standards. Gripping and engrossing from start till end. Award winning music by Christo Xavier. And last but (not) least, Pranav Mohanlal was dope. Excellent."

Another joined in praise of the filmmaker, pointing out that he doesn't make movies, he creates masterpieces. "Dies Irae is Absolute WORLD CLASS stuff!!🔥 One of the finest horror movies ever made in Indian Cinema," the user wrote.
