New Delhi: The UIDAI has launched the new Aadhaar app and shared the information through a post on X. Now, people can keep their Aadhaar card smartly on their phone after the launch of this app. In addition, this app will make it easier for users to share their Aadhaar cards. Moreover, people will be able to verify their Aadhaar easily by scanning their face through the app.

As per the UIDAI’s post, both Android and iPhone users can install this new app. Here in this article, we have listed all the features of this application:

  • With the help of this app, you can digitally share your Aadhaar in the form of a QR code.
  • While sharing your ID, the customer can choose how much and what type of information you want to share with the other person.
  • If the customer feels that certain data in your Aadhaar is not necessary to share, he/she can easily select which details to share and which to keep private.
  • This app also gives the customer the option to lock or unlock their biometric information.
  • The customer can check where and when your Aadhaar has been used.
  • The customer can store the Aadhaar cards of all your family members within a single app.

  • Download the app named Aadhaar from the Play Store or App Store.
  • Grant the required permissions and enter your Aadhaar number.
  • Accept the terms and conditions
  • Verify the phone number linked to your Aadhaar.
  • This means the phone on which you’re installing the app must have the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
  • Without verification, you won’t be able to complete the app setup.
  • Once your phone number is verified, you’ll be asked to complete face authentication.
  • After that, you’ll be prompted to set a security PIN for the app. Once this is done, you’ll be able to use your Aadhaar app.
