Delhi: Several feared injured after explosion in car near Red Fort

Several persons were feared injured in the incident after an explosion occurred in a car parked near gate number one of the Red Fort metro station in Delhi, ANI quoted the city’s fire department as saying.

Three to four other vehicles also caught fire due to the explosion.

The cause of the explosion is not immediately clear.

The metro station is located in the vicinity of the Red Fort, in the Old Delhi area, and is among the most popular tourist sites in the national capital.
