Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti 2025: Date, Time, History and Significance

Shankaracharya Jayanti will be observed on May 2, 2025. This day commemorates the birth of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. He was born on Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in Vaishakha month. Adi Shankaracharya was a philosopher of Sanatan Dharma. He taught Advaita Vedanta. He established four Maths in different directions. These Maths spread knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads.
