Get fields used for PM’s rally levelled: DC instructs officials
Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta has directed officers of the local administration to get the agricultural land, which was used to organise a rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14, levelled at Kail village of Yamunanagar district.
He also directed the officers to make arrangements of repairing and laying water pipelines and ensuring electricity supply in those agriculture fields. He visited the rally venue (agriculture fields) at Kail village and talked to the farmers. He said that the land would be returned to the farmers in the same form as it was before holding the rally of the Prime Minister.
“This land will be made fully cultivable by repairing or laying water pipelines, ensuring electricity supply and undertaking levelling works,” said Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta.
He directed the officials of PWD to get the unpaved roads removed by May 8 and get fertile soil filled in the farmers’ agriculture land. He directed the officials of the Public Health Department and Kanungo of the Revenue Department to complete all those works related to repairing or laying of water pipelines. He instructed the officials of the Municipal Corporation to make arrangements for cleaning the farmers’ land as soon as possible. He also instructed the Electricity Department officials to make arrangements for electricity for tubewells in those fields as early as possible.
