Sambhavi Jaiswal From Jamshedpur Scores 100% In ICSE Class 10 Exam 2025, Tops Nationally

ICSE Topper 2025 Class 10: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 board exam results 2025 on April 30. Sambhavi Jaiswal of Loyola School in Jamshedpur achieved the top rank in Class 10 with a 100% score.

Her father, Dr Abhishek Jaiswal, is a radiologist at Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital, whereas her mother, Dr Ojaswi Shankar, is a gynaecologist at Tata Manipal Hospital.

"I felt happy when I saw the result. My teachers praised me. I was confident I'd score above 99 percent, but I never imagined I would get a perfect 100," said Sambhavi Jaiswal, as reported by the news agency PTI.

Sambhavi aspires to become a computer science engineer and make her country proud. She credits herself to her mom, teachers, and her strong self-confidence.

Prachi Sinha and Shaunak Gorai were behind by a minimal margin with 97.8% marks, while Ashraw Gupta and Kanav Chaudhary placed third with 97.6%.

In ISC Class 12 results, students of Loyola School shone once again. Tannishtha Chatterjee topped the Arts stream with 99.00%, Anushka Singh topped the Science stream with 98.75%, and the Commerce stream was topped jointly by Varija Upadhyaya and Asmita Kar, who both scored 96.25%.

As many as 99,551 students took the ISC (Class 12) exams, and 98,578 of them passed, achieving a 99.02% overall success rate, this year. Girls maintained their academic superiority, recording a pass rate of 99.45%, significantly higher than the 98.64% achieved by boys. The same trend was seen in the ICSE (Class 10) results. Although overall performance was high, girls again performed better than boys 99.37% of girls cleared the exam, as opposed to 98.84% of boys.
