Lamborghini Temerario Launched in India at Rs 6 Crore

New Delhi – Lamborghini has officially launched the Temerario in India, priced at Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom, before options). Unveiled globally just nine months ago at the 2024 Monterey Car Week, the Temerario replaces the Huracan and brings an all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain to the brand’s line-up.

Under the hood is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 800hp and 730Nm of torque. It’s paired with three electric motors – a 150hp unit integrated with the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and two 82hp motors on the front axle. Together, the hybrid system delivers a combined 920hp and 800Nm, making it Lamborghini’s most powerful V8-powered car to date. The company claims a 0-100kph time of just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of over 340kph.

Powering the electric motors is a 3.8kWh battery, which can be recharged via a 7kW AC port, through regenerative braking, or directly from the engine. The Temerario also debuts a Drift mode – a first for Lamborghini – alongside drive modes like Citta (fully electric), Strada, Sport, and Corsa.

Built on a lightweight aluminium spaceframe, the car weighs 1,715kg (dry), which can be reduced to 1,690kg with the Alleggerita package that includes carbon-fibre components. Lamborghini claims the new design is 103% more aerodynamically efficient than the Huracan Evo, and 158% with the optional aero kit.

The styling blends elements from the Huracan, Gallardo, and Revuelto, with sharp lines, hexagonal motifs, and staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels. Inside, the Temerario gets a jet-inspired cabin with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a passenger-side 9.1-inch display. Comfort features include 18-way adjustable ventilated seats, onboard telemetry, AR navigation, and improved luggage space.

In India, the Temerario competes with the Ferrari 296 GTB (Rs 5.4 crore) and McLaren Artura (Rs 5.1 crore), positioning itself as the most expensive and powerful option among the trio.
