Pregnant Woman Among Six Injured As Bus Turns Turtle In Ujjain
Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Six persons including a pregnant woman sustained severe injuries as a private passenger bus overturned on Unhel Road here on Thursday morning. In the morning, a video coach bus full of passengers going from Jodhpur to Indore overturned after swaying on Unhel road before Bhairavgarh.
In the accident, a pregnant woman and 6 persons were injured who were admitted to Government Charak Hospital. Jaora resident Shilpi wife of Jitendra said that she had to come to Ramanujkot, Ujjain. She was sitting in the video coach bus. Suddenly, she felt the bus swaying and with a loud sound, the bus overturned.
Injured Dharmendra and Kailash, son of Jagannath, resident of Aroliya, Ashta, said that sacks full of wheat and bundles of clothes were kept on the roof of the bus, due to which the bus was moving at a high speed. Probably due to this, the balance of the bus got disturbed and the driver overturned it.
Jodhpur resident Koslaram, son of Aslaram, Jetharam, son of Mangaram, Bhimnath, son of Ghammanath, Amirnath, son of Bhagatnath also got minor injuries in the incident. They said that all the people had to go to Agar.
In the accident, the driver of Ashok Travels’ video coach bus, Jodhpur resident Nain son of Dhur Singh was also injured. He told that wheat sacks and bundles of clothes were kept on the roof of the bus from Mandsaur.
Passengers were also sitting on all the seats. While coming from Unhel Road towards Bhairavgarh, a biker came in front of the bus at a high speed in front of the school due to which the balance of the bus got disturbed and the bus overturned, the driver said.
