The news of Happy’s passing was shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, prompting an outpouring of sympathy online. Veer Pahariya, a close friend of the Ambanis, posted heartfelt glimpses of a memorial set up in Happy’s honor. The tribute space, adorned with flowers and candles, included an emotional message from the family that spoke of their deep loss.

Happy was widely known and was often seen alongside Anant Ambani, whose passion for animals is well documented. In a notable example of this affection, Anant reportedly purchased a Mercedes-Benz G400d SUV, valued between Rs 2.55 and Rs 3 crore, specifically for transporting Happy. The premium SUV, according to automotive pages like Automobili Ardent India, was used solely for the golden retriever’s comfort.

Happy was also a visible part of major Ambani family milestones. He played a special role as the ring bearer during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s engagement ceremony in January 2023. Later, he appeared in family portraits during their elaborate pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar and was present dressed in formal attire at their wedding at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on July 12, 2024.
