Repatriation of Pakistani Nationals from Attari Border Resumes, India Extends Departure Deadline

The return of Pakistani nationals from India via the Attari border resumed today after a brief halt. Visuals from the border show several Pakistani citizens being granted permission to cross back into their country following verification of documents. Earlier, the Government of India had issued a directive asking Pakistani nationals to leave the country by April 30, but later extended the deadline until further notice.Sources confirm that while these citizens were previously unable to return due to non-cooperation from Pakistan’s side, Islamabad has now agreed to receive them. Consequently, the Border Security Force (BSF) allowed their movement after due clearance. These individuals had entered India legally on visas and are now being repatriated through official channels. The development comes in the backdrop of increased tensions between the two nations following recent terror incidents. India has reiterated its firm stance on national security while facilitating the lawful exit of foreign nationals.
