Massive Fire Breaks Out At Gwalior's Famous Soya Chaap Outlet After Gas Cylinder Explodes
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A massive fire broke out late Thursday night at a soya chaap shop in Gwalior, reducing goods worth lakhs of rupees into ashes. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to gas cylinder leakage.
The blaze occurred at MM soya chaap shop located at the Chowpatty behind the Gurudwara in the Inderganj police station area. According to TI Inderganj Deepti Tomar the cops were on a routine check in the area when they noticed huge rising flames emerging from the shop.
They immediately informed the fire brigade. Two fire brigades rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flame after nearly an hour of continuous efforts.
Good worth lakhs of rupees reduced to ashes
By the time the flames were brought under control the shop was reduced into ashes and goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt in the intense flame

According to the witnesses, the area was heavily crowded when the fire broke out, causing chaos and tension among the people. The shopkeeper fled the spot leaving the gas cylinder inside. After which the fire spread slowly and engulfed the entire shop before the first responders could reach the spot.
No casualties were reported in the incident, and the cops are investigating to find the exact cause of fire.
