Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, once paid double price for 250 chickens due to…, has connection with…

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s younger son, Anant Ambani, has once again been in the spotlight due to Vantara, one of the world’s leading organisations in wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation. Earlier in February, Anant Ambani’s Vantara has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Prani Mitra’ National Award, India’s highest honour in animal welfare, by the Government of India under the ‘Corporate’ category. The award recognizes the exceptional contributions of Radhe Krishna Temple Elephant Welfare Trust (RKTEWT), an organization under Vantara dedicated to the rescue, treatment, and lifelong care of elephants.

Recently, Anant Ambani completed a 170-km spiritual padyatra from Jamnagar to Gujarat, which began on March 29. The journey reportedly was completed on April 6. During the journey, he encountered 250 chickens being transported to a slaughterhouse. Deeply moved, he reportedly stopped the van near Khambhalia town in Devbhumi Dwarka district in the early hours and rescued them.

A video capturing the incident has gone viral on social media, featuring Anant Ambani holding a chicken in his hands. In the clip, he is heard speaking in Gujarati to his team, instructing, “Save them all… buy them. Pay their owner, and we will take care of them from now on.” Without hesitation, he bought the chickens for double their original price and made arrangements for their relocation to Vantara, an animal sanctuary.

After ensuring the birds were safe, Anant Ambani announced that he would personally take responsibility for their care. Cradling one of the chickens in his hands, he fervently chanted “Jai Dwarkadhish,” a heartfelt expression of his devotion as he resumed his spiritual journey. The younger son of Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani is known for his deep love for animals and his “Vantara” wildlife preservation project.
