Man held with illegal weapon

The Farrukhnagar crime branch has arrested a man found in possession of illegal weapons. The accused was injured after jumping off the KMP flyover in an attempt to escape arrest and has been admitted to hospital.

The Farrukhnagar crime branch team got a tip-off about a man roaming with an illegal firearm, allegedly with the intention of committing a crime. When the team arrived at the location, the suspect leapt from the KMP flyover. He sustained a fracture. The police said a case has been registered against the accused, Mohammad Salim.
