Rahul Sahai meets LG, condemns Pahalgam attack

JAMMU, May 3: Chairman Indian Chamber of Commerce, Jammu, Rahul Sahai called on J&K Lieutenant Governor (LG), Manoj Sinha and expressed deep solidarity with the Government on behalf of entire trade and industry community of Jammu in the wake of terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
Sahai extended unwavering support of civil society, trade and commerce sector in actions initiated by PM Modi, LG Administration and security forces to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice.
He emphasised that the entire business fraternity of Jammu is deeply hurt and stands united in grief with the families of the victims.
Sahai acknowledged the commendable restraint and maturity shown by the citizens, especially in Kashmir, in maintaining peace while unequivocally condemning the act of terror. As a gesture of spiritual solidarity, Sahai presented a sacred five-faced Hanuman idol-symbolising strength, protection and divine support to the LG on behalf of the trade and industry community of Jammu.
