WATCH: Priyanka Gandhi Halts Convoy To Aid Kozhikode Crash Victims On Way To Wayanad
Congress MP and AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra stopped her convoy on Saturday evening to assist victims of a road accident that occurred at Eengappuzha in Kozhikode district, Kerala.
The accident took place when two vehicles collided, one of which was carrying Noushad, a resident of Koyilandy, and his family. "En route from Kozhikode Airport to Kalpetta, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi MP stopped her convoy noticing a car accident in Eengappuzha. She called in a doctor from the convoy to examine the injured and provide them with first aid."
Without hesitation, Gandhi intervened, calling for a doctor from her entourage to administer first aid to the injured. A video released by her office showed her interacting with the victims and inquiring about their condition. "Priyanka Gandhi MP continued her journey by directing the medical team in the ambulance in the convoy to take the injured to the hospital." Her convoy’s ambulance transported the injured to a nearby hospital for further treatment, following her direct instructions.

The Congress leader is currently in Kerala on a three-day tour of her Lok Sabha constituency, Wayanad. "She arrived in Kerala for a three-day visit to her Lok Sabha constituency, Wayanad."
Meanwhile, Gandhi also expressed condolences over a separate tragic incident in Goa. "Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday offered condolences over the tragic incident of a stampede in Shirgao, Goa, which claimed six lives."
The Congress party shared footage of her at the accident site, further underlining her prompt response and compassionate engagement with the victims.
