Breaking News: India’s Stern Measures Against Pakistan Amid Pahalgam Terror Attack Tensions

Twelve days after the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 innocent people, India has launched a series of tough actions against Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clearly stated that both terrorists and those who support them will face strict punishment. India’s response has been swift and powerful—banning all imports from Pakistan, suspending postal and train services, and cutting off airspace access to Pakistani aircraft. Additionally, India has drastically reduced Pakistan’s diplomatic presence by allowing only 30 officials to remain in its embassy in New Delhi. All other Pakistani staff have been sent back. The government has also revoked all visas issued to Pakistani citizens and banned social media accounts of Pakistani actors in India. The Attari-Wagah border has been completely shut. The biggest strategic strike has been India’s decision to halt the Indus Water Treaty, which restricts the water flow into Pakistan. Reports also suggest Pakistan is running dangerously low on ammunition, with only a four-day supply remaining. Financially, Pakistan is under pressure, having sold weapons to Ukraine and cut rations for its army. With these bold moves, India has made it clear that it will not tolerate terrorism and is ready to diplomatically and economically isolate Pakistan.
