Vir Das Lashes Out At Neighbour For Yelling At Delivery Agent Over 10-Minute Delay In Mumbai: 'Never Wanted To Slap Someone More'
On Sunday, comedian and actor Vir Das publicly criticised his rude neighbour in the building next door in Mumbai for aggressively scolding a food delivery worker who was just 10 minutes late, even admitted that he had to resist the urge to slap the person for their disrespect.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter), Vir said, "Heard someone in the building next door having at a delivery guy. Dude is ten mins late. Never wanted to slap someone more. In Mumbai, the average delivery guy driving an e-scooter is re-enacting the Martian on his way to you. Have a little goddam patience."

A few days ago, Vir slammed Air India airlines for not providing his wife, Shivani Mathur, with a wheelchair despite specifically asking and paying for it in advance. He also highlighted the condition of the "refurbished" aircraft and said that they got broken tables and leg rests in spite of paying Rs 50,000 per seat.
On X, he wrote, "We step off the plane to the top of the ladder. I ask an air India male ground staff member to help us, looks at me, shrugs, and Ignores me. My wife with a fracture makes it down the stepladder. I tell an Air India staff member at the bottom near the buses what happened. He says “sir kya Karein…sorry”. We get to the terminal, encalm people inform wheelchair staff that we had pre booked a chair. He’s clueless."
On the work front, Vir Das is set to perform his show in London on June 2, 2025, at 9:00 PM at the Soho Theatre Main House, located at 21 Dean Street, Soho.
He will be doing a total of 12 shows from June 2 to June 14.
