CBSE Board Result 2025: CBSE gave good news to the students, made this important change

CBSE Board Result 2025: CBSE has made an important change before releasing the 10th and 12th results, which is in the interest of the students. Students can now get photocopies of the answer sheets before applying for verification/re-evaluation after the result. CBSE has issued a notification and informed about this important change.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given a good news before the results of class 10th and 12th. CBSE has announced a change in post result activities, allowing students to obtain photocopies of answer sheets before applying for verification/re-evaluation. The rule currently in force in this regard is that students first apply for verification of marks, then photocopies of answer sheets and then apply for re-evaluation of their results, but this time the rule has been changed.

The notification issued by CBSE states that this new system will allow students to view their answer sheets before applying for re-checking, giving them clarity about the marks awarded and any errors. The board has said that the detailed process of obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, verification of marks and re-evaluation will be shared after the declaration of class 10th and 12th results.

CBSE has said, ‘After receiving the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet in the first phase, the student can decide whether to opt for verification of marks, which includes posting/totaling of marks or re-evaluation, under which the student requests re-evaluation of a question. After receiving the photocopy of the answer sheet, the student can apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation or both as per the prescribed procedure.’

When will the result be announced?

CBSE has not yet announced the date and time for releasing the results of class 10th and 12th board exams, but it is being said that the results of both the exams can be declared on the same day. When the result is released, students can check it on the official websites of CBSE cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. Apart from this, students can also check their results on digilocker.gov.in and results.gov.in.

Students will also have the option to check their results through Umang app and SMS. CBSE Class 10 board exam started on 15 February and ended on 1 March 2025, while CBSE Class 12 board exam was conducted from 15 February to 4 April 2025.
