Sambhal district magistrate fines 33 private schools for using non-NCERT books
In Bareilly, a district official investigation revealed that 33 CBSE and ICSE-affiliated schools violated guidelines by using non-NCERT textbooks. These schools were also compelling students to buy books from specific vendors at inflated prices. District Magistrate Dr. Rajender Pensiya fined each offending school under the UP Self-Financed School Fee Regulation Act, 2018, for these violations.
