'Had Bugs In Beard, Slit My Wrist': Babil Khan Responds To Filmmaker Sai Razesh's Post Demanding Apology From Him
Amid being caught in a public emotional turmoil, Babil Khan hit back at filmmaker Sai Razesh for demanding an apology from him. He accused the director of "breaking his heart" and stated that he stayed in filth and slit his wrist for his film.
It all began after a video showing Babil breaking down on camera and crying inconsolably went viral. While he slammed Bollywood and called it the "fakest industry", he added that there are people like Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal and others, who are genuinely nice and supportive. But this did not sit well with Sai Razesh, who called Babil and his team out, and accused him of demeaning the rest of the industry.
What did Sai Razesh post?
"Do you really think we’re that naive to just walk away silently? What kind of attitude are we being subjected to? It feels like only those whose names were mentioned in his video deserve respect – and the rest of us are just fools for standing by him all this while? (sic)," Razesh wrote in his now-deleted post.
"If you’re making them feel valued just because he gave them a shoutout, and ignoring the rest of us – then yes, we do deserve an apology for how things have been handled. I genuinely wanted to stand by him - even until an hour ago. But if you’re taking us for granted, that stops here. These sympathy games won’t work on us anymore. A sincere apology is the least you owe us. Say it, and let’s move on (sic)," he added.
Babil reacts to Sai Razesh's post
While Razesh ranted out his feelings on social media, Babil was in no mood to sit back, and his comments then opened a can of worms. The Qala actor commented under Razesh's post: "You really broke my heart. After everything I’ve given to you. 2 years of my life, complete physical atrocity to my body just so I can do justice to his character, I gave him my soul, rejected everything that came in my way for 2 years, anything and everything he needed, for 500 days of my life (sic)."
Babil went on to say, "Not to mention the pain and the suffering I put in my soul, lived in filth just to make sure sir @sairazesh is happy with the character. It’s okay now..I’ll let my work speak. Goodbye (sic)."
"Man I had bugs in my beard because he needed that in the character. I gave him my laughter while I held back my tears. I slit my fu**ing wrist for him (sic)," Babil added.
Soon after netizens noticed Babil's comments and the post blew up, Razesh deleted it without any explanation. Meanwhile, Babil, who had deactivated his Instagram account after the breakdown video fiasco, is now back on social media, and he thanked his fans and peers for supporting him.
