Mahindra XUV700 5 Seater Discontinued As Topend Variants Popular

Mahindra has discontinued the more affordable 5 seater variant of the XUV700 in favour of the more popular 7 seater version. The website has delisted the 5 seater and 7 seater versions are the only ones being available. Hence, the base price now starts at under 15 lakh for the 7 seater petrol manual.

The reason being that 7 seater has been more popular and this SUV has seen more success with its topend trims more. The XUV700 hence is available with a 7 seater starting while the topend trims get 6 and 7 seater versions. As it has been seen the topend trims have been more popular due to greater number of features available on these variants which makes it more attractive.

The XUV700 comes with both diesel and petrol options which does not change. The 5 seater being discontinued also hints that a major refresh of the XUV700 is also in the pipeline soon.

The XUV700 is one of the most popular cars from Mahindra along with the Scorpio N while a facelift version will bring in new updates in terms of added technology as well as new comfort features.

Recently Mahindra also added a new black edition which is on sale as well but only available with 6 and 7 seater versions too. We can expect an update for this suv in this year for sure.
