Teen Girl Murdered By Classmate In MP's Dhar For Not Talking To Him
A 17-year-old girl was found dead in Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district, said the officials on Sunday. The body of the Class 12 student was discovered on Saturday morning in an agricultural field in the Umarban police station area, some 70 km from the district headquarters, they added.
According to the police, she was murdered by her classmate after she refused to continue talking to him, reported PTI. The accused asked her to come to the agricultural field under the pretence of a meeting, where he killed her using a sharp weapon.
A probe was immediately launched by the police, upon learning about the murder, said Additional Superintendent of Police Gitesh Garg. Subsequently, the cops were informed that the girl was being harassed by a classmate. During the questioning, the accused confessed to killing the teenager. According to officials, he was reportedly upset after the girl had stopped talking to him.

In a separate but similarly disturbing case, a 16-year-old boy was killed in Maharashtra’s Pimpri area following a dispute over a card game. The accused, Soheb Habib Sheikh (19), reportedly assaulted the victim after an argument broke out while playing the game ‘Vyapar’ on the terrace of a neighbour's house, as per a report by Hindustan Times.
According to the complaint filed by Naganath Arjun Kurhade, his younger son was playing the card game with the accused when an argument broke out between the two. The complainant's younger son went to his elder brother and told him that the suspect was beating him up. Later, when the 16-year-old confronted Soheb, he was attacked kicked on his face and head, as per a report by The Times of India. The boy, a student Class 12 student, later succumbed to his injuries due to internal head injuries.
Senior Inspector Gorakh Kumbhar of Sant Tukaramnagar Police Station confirmed the details, stating that a case has been registered under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
