Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh is all set for his debut at MET Gala 2025. Since the last couple of days, he has been offering behind-the-scenes glimpse from New York City ahead of the prestigious and star-studded event. Fans are equally excited for his look and new details have emerged, revealing Diljit will be among the few invited to dine inside Anna Wintour's exclusive soirée. Yes, you read that right!
According to a report in ETimes, Diljit will be the only male Indian celebrity to have a seat at MET Gala 2025. This means, he will not only walk the red carpet but also join Anna Wintour's ultra-exclusive MET Gala dinner. Anna is the editor-in-chief of Vogue and the chief of the event.
The report also stated that Diljit will be seated at designer Prabal Gurung's table inside the MET Gala, where he'll rub shoulders with global icons like Shakira, Gayle King, Nicole Scherzinger, and other international luminaries.
Not all MET Gala attendees are invited to the intimate post-red carpet dinner, which is considered the heart of the event, where A-listers from fashion, film, music, and art mingle.
Diljit's presence at the dinner is a major honour, marking him as someone recognised and respected by the highest levels of the global fashion elite.
On Monday, the singer-actor took to Instagram to share a candid video, revealing the MET Gala invitation. Dressed casually in his hotel room, Diljit held up the invite and gave his followers a tour of what's inside and what to expect at the year's biggest fashion event.
