7-year-old dies of rabies despite getting vaccine in Kerala

A seven-year-old girl from Kollam died of rabies despite vaccination, marking the third such child fatality in Kerala within a month. The girl, bitten on the elbow, received three vaccine doses and immunoglobulin serum, but the virus reached her brain before the fourth dose could be administered.
