All hail as mother-to-be Kiara Advani just made a stunning Met Gala 2025 debut and how! The red carpet of the star-studded gala is here. The mom-to-be simply made us stop and stare at her monochromatic off-shoulder gown with ace Indian designer Gaurav Gupta’s custom ‘Bravehearts’ couture. Her ensemble was exuding nothing but her spirit and journey towards motherhood in the most wholesome way one can imagine. Advani was all grace and elegance tipped with that pregnancy glow!

Kiara Advani’s Met Gala Debut: A Tribute to Motherhood

Kiara Advani’s ethereal presence at the red carpet was more than just fashion but a textile representation of depth and symbolism.

The theme for this year’s night was ‘Tailored For You’. It was a honouring the revolutionising Black Dandy style of dressing. For Advani, it was a little extra special it wasn’t just her but her little one walking the carpet in a heartfelt narrative. “A tribute to defiance, legacy, and new beginnings. Bravehearts is built on the spirit of the Black Dandy — those who challenged norms and reshaped culture with grace, strength, and individuality,” is  how Gaurav Gupta defines his envision of the ensemble.

On the pregnant Kiara Advani, the look takes on deeper meaning; representing how identity is inherited and reimagined through generations. At its core, a gold sculpted breastplate with two hearts – mother and child, connected by an abstract umbilical cord.

Kiara Advani slipped elegantly into the bodycon classic raven black gown that was elevated with the GG’s signature breastplate style. Accentuating her ensemble, she added a dramatic black and white cape keeping up with the theme for the grand night.

The ‘Shershah’ actress’s look was inspired by André Leon Talley’s 2010 Met Gala look.

Take cues from Advani to style up your glam quotient in the most minimalistic aesthetic. She opted for minimal makeup with sleek contouring, significant blush and nude tone glossy lips. Making a statement with her attire, she chose classy eye shadow with her eyes highlighting that mascara look. The metallic ear cuffs – earring pair, and rings added on to the idea.

Every year Indian representation elevates itself in finest prints, and exquisite style. This Met Gala 2025 has witnessed the debut of the legendary King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, who wore his style up his sleeves. SRK looked suave in Sabyasachi’s all black ensemble and stylish dandy stick and well that neck blindingly sparkled with diamonds. Another regal Indian debutant was Diljit Dosanjh who made noise as he walked the red carpet in a fashionable tribute to her Punjabi roots.
