Punjab National Bank is giving interest up to 7.90 percent on FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years to its customers. The country’s third largest government bank is offering its customers interest ranging from 6.80 percent to 7.60 percent on 2-year FDs. PNB is offering 6.80 percent interest to general citizens, 7.30 percent to senior citizens and 7.60 percent to super senior citizens on 2-year FDs. Let us tell you that fixed and guaranteed interest is available on FDs in a fixed period.

Deposit Rs 1 lakh and get fixed interest of Rs 16,250

If you are a general citizen and deposit Rs 1 lakh in a 2-year FD of PNB, then you will get a total of Rs 1,14,437 on maturity, which includes fixed interest of Rs 14,437. If you are a senior citizen and deposit Rs 1 lakh in a 2-year FD in PNB, you will get a total of Rs 1,15,567 on maturity, which includes a fixed interest of Rs 15,567. Similarly, if you are a super senior citizen and deposit Rs 1 lakh in a 2-year FD of PNB, you will get a total of Rs 1,16,250 on maturity, which includes a fixed interest of Rs 16,250.
