A series of mild tremors were felt across several northern Telangana districts on Monday evening sparking brief panic. However, there were no injuries or structural damage. The tremors occurred around 6:50 PM lasting a few seconds.

Similar tremors were also noted in parts of Adilabad, including Nirmal district’s Kadem, Jannaram, Khanapur, and Laxmanchanda mandals, reported News 18. In neighbouring Nizamabad district, areas such as Kammarpally, Mortad, and Sirikonda felt light seismic activity for approximately three to four seconds.
In Peddapalli’s Sultanabad mandal and Siddipet’s Rajakkapet and Dubbaka mandals, the brief shaking disturbed household items prompting many to gather outdoors. However, there was no visible damage.
Though the tremors caused concern among the population—especially among women and children—officials have confirmed there is no cause for alarm. Local authorities are monitoring seismic activity and have urged the public to remain calm and cautious.
