4am last call & no live shows: Haryana out with new liquor policy
Haryana's government has approved a new liquor policy. The policy will be effective for 21 months, starting June 2025. It introduces earlier closing times for urban liquor shops. Live performances are banned in taverns. Alcohol sales will stop in villages with fewer than 500 residents. The government aims for revenue of Rs 14,064 crore.
