Nita Ambani gives her expensive Rs 1200 crore diamond necklace to Isha Ambani for her Met look, check viral video

Mukesh Ambani’s wife, Nita Ambani, an Indian businesswoman and philanthropist, has a vast collection of expensive jewellery. From diamonds and gold to emeralds, you name it, she has it all in the form of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and even the traditional chabi challa. Nita Ambani’s fashion sense has always impressed critics, and she continues to make a statement at family functions, business events, and weddings. This impeccable style has been passed on to her daughter, Isha Ambani, who is making headlines at fashion’s biggest night, the Met Gala 2025. Embracing the theme ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,’ Isha opted for a fusion look blending Indian tradition with modern elegance. Nita helped her with the jewellery, including the iconic Toussaint necklace, which stood out at the gala.

The show-stopping accessory was a brick-sized vintage diamond necklace that undoubtedly deserved its moment. Once belonging to the Maharaja of Nawanagar, this historic piece is now part of Cartier’s treasured collection and was purchased by Nita Ambani. It is worth $150 million (Around Rs 12,00 crore, the exact figure is Rs 12667217835). We can also see Isha elegantly carrying Nita Ambani’s chabi challa on her waist, worn above her outfit. That, too, is made entirely of diamonds.

This is the very same necklace featured in the 2018 film Ocean’s 8.

For the main event, Isha Ambani wore a heavily embellished black-and-gold corset with an intricately detailed bodice. She paired it with sleek black silk trousers featuring straight-cut silhouettes and silver-studded embellishments along the sides.
