IAF To Carry Out Mega Military Exercise Along Pakistan Border From Wednesday

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to carry out a large-scale exercise over the desert sector and adjoining areas along the India-Pakistan border from Wednesday amid escalating tensions between the two countries over the Pahalgam terror attack.
 
Indian Air Force officials said that the fighter jets, including the Rafale, Mirage 2000 and Sukhoi-30s will participate in the exercise. The IAF will hold the military drills in Rajasthan, a NOTAM or Notice to Airmen issued on Tuesday said.

The drills will begin at 9.30 pm on Wednesday (May 7) and end after over five hours, during which the flights departing or landing at the airport close to the border will be suspended.

The comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam which claimed the lives of 26 people.
