Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 2% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), which will increase the rate of basic pay and pension from 53% to 55% from January 1, 2025.

This move will benefit AIS officers serving in the state, central government employees on deputation and state government employees, pensioners and family pensioners.

Arrears will be paid in cash from January-April 2025. The revised rates will be reflected in the monthly disbursement from May 2025. Total financial outlay Rs 73.22 crore in 14 months. A step forward in our commitment to employee welfare and reducing inflation pressure.

For the four-month period from January to April 2025, the financial implication is Rs 20.80 crore (Rs 5.20 crore per month) for DA and Rs 0.12 crore (Rs 0.03 crore per month) for DR, totaling Rs 20.92 crore.

Till now DA of these states has increased
