Aim high for agricultural development, says Shivakumar S of ITC

“FALI stands for Future Agricultural Leaders of India. The acronym FALI also represents: F – Farmer-Centric, A – Appreciate, L – Large Goals and Long Term, I – Innovation. If we work based on these principles, transformation in agriculture is possible. For that, everyone must set high goals and consistently strive to achieve them,” said Shivakumar S, Group Head of Agri and IT Businesses at ITC Ltd.

The third session of the 11th convention of ‘Future Agricultural Leaders of India’ (FALI) concluded recently at Jain Hills. Winners of the Innovation and Agritech Business Plan competitions were felicitated during the event. Shivakumar S. delivered his keynote address at that time.

The judges of the Innovation and Business Model competitions, along with Anil Jain, Vice Chairman of Jain Irrigation; Nancy Barry, Director of FALI; Dr. Anil Patil, Senior Scientist at Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.; Sunil Gupta; Abhijit Joshi; Amol Phalke and Anjikya Tandale from UPL; Rakesh Kumar; Kanji Parmar; Sweety Vegunta, Mangesh Deshmukh, and Ravindra Pathare from Godrej Agrovet; Kailas Kalbande from Star Agri; Praveen Kumar Kasat; Amit Tayade from NABARD; Aayushi Mittal and Divya Changlani from Prompt; Vighnesh V. J. from Verv Farmstay; and Kiran Ghorpade from SBI Foundation, along with representatives from various companies were present on the dais.

The dignitaries presented trophies and mementoes to the winners of both competitions, honoring their achievements. Additionally, former FALI students, teachers, and representatives from partner companies were felicitated. Harsh Nautiyal received a special honor on this occasion.
