UT of DNH and Daman & Diu once again shines in Gujarat and Maharashtra Board Class 12th General and Science Stream Results
Under the visionary leadership of Administrator Praful Patel and with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has once again achieved remarkable success in the Class 12th Board results of Gujarat and Maharashtra Boards.
The results of the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examinations were declared yesterday by Gujarat and Maharashtra Boards. The Union Territory had shown a historic improvement of nearly 25% in results last year. This year, not only has that improvement been sustained, but an even better performance has been recorded.
• General Stream (Gujarat Board):
• The UT has achieved a pass percentage of 95.57%, outperforming both Gujarat’s state average of 93.07% and its own previous year’s result of 91.27%.
• Out of 2983 students, 2852 passed, while 132 did not clear the exam. These students will have another opportunity through supplementary exams.
• Diu district has maintained its top rank among all Gujarat districts in terms of pass percentage.
• Dadra & Nagar Haveli recorded the highest improvement with a jump from 89.22% to 95.27%, marking a 6.05% increase.
• Science Stream (Gujarat Board):
• The overall pass percentage is 81.98%, an improvement of 7.03% over last year’s 74.95%.
• Out of 988 students, 810 cleared the exams.
• Diu emerged on top again with 86.79%, a 13.04% jump from last year’s 73.75%.
• Maharashtra Board Results:
• In the Science stream, the UT scored a perfect 100% pass rate, an increase of 5.88% over last year.
• In the General stream, Commerce recorded 100%, a 14.74% improvement, and Arts recorded 97.28%, with a 47.82% improvement over last year.
It is especially notable that 10 years ago, when Administrator Praful Patel assumed charge, the pass percentage in board exams hovered around 60–70%. Thanks to the educational revolution under his leadership, it now stands strong at 80–90%.
Under the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the visionary leadership of Praful Patel, not only have physical infrastructure and resources improved, but the quality of education has seen a dramatic transformation.
These results clearly reflect the success of this transformation and have inspired thousands of students to pursue higher education. Now, many students aim to enter world-class institutions like NAMO Medical College, IIIT, NIFT, GNLU, and Government Engineering Colleges, which are now accessible to them.
