WATCH: Funerals Held For Terrorists Killed In India's Strike On Pakistan Terror Camps

A video has surfaced on social media showing funerals being conducted for those terrorists killed after India launched cross-border precision strikes in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, targeting nine terror camps early Wednesday.

A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist, Hafiz Abdul Rauf, led funeral prayers for three men killed after Indian military strikes on a terror-linked site in Muridke, near Lahore, Pakistan.

The funeral was attended by personnel from the Pakistan Army, police, civil administration, and members of the proscribed outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), founded by Hafiz Saeed, as per the India Today report.

According to a PTI report, the deceased, Qari Abdul Malik, Khalid, and Mudassir, were said to be affiliated with JuD and served as prayer leaders and caretakers at a mosque that was destroyed during the strike.

Targeted Attack Under ‘Operation Sindoor’ 

India conducted the precision strikes in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people.

Following the attack, India launched targeted operations under ‘Operation Sindoor’ at nine terror-linked locations, including four in Pakistan and five in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK): Sawai Nalla, Sarjal, Muridke, Kotli, Kotli Gulpur, Mehmoona Joya, Bhimber, and Bahawalpur.

These sites were carefully selected, including Bahawalpur, the base of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Muridke, the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) headquarters. The precision strikes began at 1:05 am and went on till 1.30 am, during which India attacked using 24 missiles that struck nine terror camps.

BBC Urdu reported that JeM chief Masood Azhar confirmed the deaths of 10 family members and four aides in Bahawalpur as a result of the Indian strikes.
