Ground Report: Civilian House Destroyed By Pak Shelling In Uri Sector

A house along the Line of Control that was extensively shelled by Pakistani forces has been reduced to rubbles. At least 35 people including women and children lived in the large house in Uri. They managed to run to a shelter. This was the third village in the Uri sector that was shelled by Pakistani forces. NDTV met some of the residents of the affected village. The residents said their entire livelihood is tied to their land and their children go to school. They said it is not easy and they simply cannot just get up and leave the place.
