Operation Sindoor: Control rooms set up across Kashmir, JK govt asks employees to…
Operation Sindoor: After India launched missile strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor, the authorities in Srinagar have set up control rooms across all 10 districts of Kashmir to monitor the situation closely.
“Considering the current situation, a Joint Control Room is established at the District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC), Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar under the overall supervision of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Srinagar,” the local district magistrate said in an official order.
Similar control rooms have been set up in all 10 districts of Kashmir.
The Deputy Commissioner said the control room in Srinagar will work 24 hours a day. It will be a central place for departments to coordinate with each other, track what is happening, and share information instantly.
“It shall also act as a grievance redressal platform for the general public, allowing efficient resolution of issues arising in real time,” the order said.
This means people can also reach out to the control room to share their problems. The room will help in solving issues as soon as possible, coordinating emergency services, and providing any support or help needed, reported by PTI.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir government has directed all administrative secretaries and heads of departments not to approve any employee leave unless it is for an exceptional reason.
