There is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds of 40 to 60 kmph in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. During the entire 5 days i.e. from 7 to 11 May, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and strong winds of 30 to 40 kmph in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi (Delhi NCR Weather Update), Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
There is an alert regarding sporadic hailstorms in Uttarakhand on 7 and 8 May. On 7 May, there will be lightning and strong winds at a speed of 50-60 kmph in eastern Rajasthan, which can increase to 70 kmph.
There is a possibility of dust storm at sporadic places in western Rajasthan during 7 to 11 May. There is a possibility of sporadic heavy rains in Uttarakhand and eastern Rajasthan on 7 May.
Strong winds with speeds of 40 to 60 kmph gusting to 60 kmph are likely to blow in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during 7 to 11 May along with lightning. Strong winds (Weather Update Latest News) are also likely to blow in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and Odisha.
Hail warning has been issued in eastern Madhya Pradesh and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Strong winds with a speed of 30 to 50 kmph are expected in Northeast India during the next 5 days. Heavy rains (IMD Rain Alert) may occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya till May 11.
